Norway’s natural charm has inspired many poets and novelists. Especially the Lofoten Islands are considered a paradise, but perhaps the conditions may seem a bit harsh in the Arctic Circle, the place is simply a must if we have the opportunity.

Norway’s Lofoten Islands are home to some amazing natural sites and for thousands of years has preserved its charm and incomparable magic.

The main islands are visited by tourists Austvagoy, Vestvagoy, Flakstad and Moskenes, is where lovers of hiking and climbing followed by writers and poets seeking inspiration and maybe a little peace.

The midnight sun phenomenon presents itself as an appeal to experience. In Leknes, for example, the sun stays above the horizon between May 26 and July 17. Visitors are often located at the head of any of the western beaches to witness this disturbing event, the most popular are Utakleiv and beach on the island Vestvagoy Eggum.
